I was included in an exhibit at the Riverbrink Art Museum in Queenston Ontario. The exhibit was entitled “Dreams and Schemes: Building the Welland Canal”. The exhibit ran from September to January 2018. The exhibit showed about 40 pieces of art in a variety of media, Watercolour, Pastel, Pencil and Oils and includes one sketch, of a Canal Lock, by Tom Thomson. I’m thrilled to have been a part of this exhibit as 1 of 2 living artists in this show.
Well, 2021 was another one of those years. We had tried to plan classes starting in January and, well, they got postponed till mid-August. So, I decided to take a Watercolour class with Bill Biddle in Dunnville, to, you know, maybe learn something new! And it was well worth it!
In mid-August RiverBrink Art Museum opened up and we had our Watercolour class and on we went …
RiverBrink – August 14 – Sept 18 – Watercolour
The Pumphouse – Sept 9 & 16 – Perspective (1 pt & 2 pt)
The Pumphouse – Sept 8 – 29 – Scale Modelling
The Pumphouse – Sept 25- Oct 2 – Plein Air
RiverBrink – Oct 16 & 23 – Plein Air
The Pumphouse – Oct 6 – 27 – Pastel using Underpainting
That was a busy 3 months but it was Funn!
Now, let’s see what 2022 has in store for us!
